Oct 29 Spectacular American Halloween Displays!

I have not been in America for Halloween since I cannot remember when and the exuberant, playful displays in Manhattan, Brooklyn, San Francisco and suburban New Jersey these past weeks were so spectacular that I had to share them with you!

Spooky and scary.

And, most fun of all, coffin cookies at the wonderful B Patisserie in San Francisco (more about this great pastry spot in a future blog).

Spiders & ghosts were everywhere, plus spiderwebs, ghouls, skulls and, of course, traditional bright orange pumpkins. Most fun: walking down a New York city street to see happy children (plus parents) starting to put up decorations - and then walking back along the same street the next day to see the whole magnificent display.
